Since 2018, Twysted Throttle has been offering a fun and dynamic learning environment for new, intermediate, and advanced riders.

At it’s core, Our Mission is to create safety minded motorcyclists. We do this by empowering students with the FUNdementails for a lifetime of safe riding enjoyment

Courses

We offer training for those under 21 (requirement for licensing), new riders and experienced riders seeking additional training.

Our Motorcycle Training Course (MTC) is designed for the novice rider with no (or limited) street riding experience. This course includes both classroom and on-cycle instruction.

1 Day Premier Course gives riders age 21 and older, who already possess basic motorcycle knowledge and riding skills but are not licensed, the opportunity to achieve intermediate level skills and the DMV skills test waiver in one day. Successful completion of an entry skills exam is required to take this course. View entry exam requirements.

Important Participation & Licensing Notice:

A valid, government-issued photo ID is required to participate in all classes. Enrollment and participation in CMSP courses does not guarantee successful completion or passing of the class. Additionally, completion of any course does not guarantee issuance of an M-1 Motorcycle Endorsement or license by the California DMV. The DMV retains sole authority over licensing decisions. Individuals with a suspended or revoked driver’s license are not eligible to be issued a DL-389 Certificate of Completion.

I’ve ridden 35,000 miles in California over 2.5 years, plus a year in Okinawa. I love teaching riders to gain confidence and enjoy the ride. Whether it’s beginners, returning riders, or refining skills, helping others succeed is rewarding. I’m always up for an adventure—canyons, scenic routes, or any ride, especially with my wife!
